Late-Breaking Abstracts

Now accepting late-breaking submissions
December 10, 2021 – May 15, 2022

What type of abstract is eligible for late-breaking submission?
A late-breaking abstract submission for a poster or an oral presentation should contain new information. The abstract should consist of results that were not yet known, or fully available, at the time of the previous abstract submission deadline, October 15, 2021. Abstracts must be submitted through the ICEID 2022 submission system.

Important Rules for Submission of Abstracts
  • No changes can be made to abstracts following their final submission. You are welcome to present an updated poster during the conference.
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  • The presenting author must be listed as the first author.
  • Abstracts should describe original work.

Abstract Selection and Presentation
The Scientific Program Committee will review all submitted abstracts. Notification regarding abstract acceptance and scheduling will be sent to the presenting author.

Selected poster and oral presentations will have the option of presenting either in person or virtually. Those who elect to present virtually will need to provide a pre-recorded review of their presentation. All poster and oral presenters will still be required to join their session at its scheduled time.

If your abstract is selected for either a poster or an oral presentation, you will be required to register for the conference. To register for the conference, click here.
