Late Breaker Abstract Notification   Friday, February 29, 2008

All abstracts must be submitted electronically. The meeting is using the American Society for Microbiology's Web-based Abstract Submission System. If you have used the system to submit abstracts to any past ASM meeting or conference, you will be able to re-enter the system as a returning user. If you are unfamiliar with this system, setting up an account from the website is quick and simple.  If you encounter difficulty in submitting your abstract on line, please contact technical support at support@abstractsonline.com or call 217-398-1792.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Your abstract may have up to 2000 characters. The title, authors, institution, and spaces are not included in the character count. Do not include title or authors within the abstract text. Special and scientific characters may also be included. A Times New Roman font is recommended. Prior to upload, format the abstract into four (4) sections and bold each section as follows:

Abstract Template:
The above four sections are included on the abstract template to support publication consistency. Simply type into the abstract template the text for each section of the abstract.

Options:
You may directly type your abstract text into the abstract template or upload a word processor document containing the four sections of the abstract.
